Shop Hop

We had a lot of fun on the shop hop, but we wish Amy could have been with us. We took lots of pictures for her so she could be a part of it!

This pillow is what made us search all day for that book Mom bought. Isn't it so cute?

This is one of the stores we went to.
I made Andrea stand by the sign for a picture (hehe)

Mom was talking to Amy on the phone so I had to get a picture of that :)

We thought this was really cute, and that you would like it Amy.

This is the man eating tree! It was very windy and while we were walking by this tree we started hearing cracking and branches started coming off. We ran to get away from it so we didn't get smashed. When we came back out of the store, the wind had slowed down a bit, so we got a picture with the braches that had fallen.

I thought this was really cute!

Here we are at one of the stores.

We ran into them at a bunch of the stores!

We thought these would be cute for baby pictures.

Cheese!

Andrea did a cheer at one of the stores for a free fat quarter. She actually got embarassed!

We all really liked this skirt.

We got little crowns at one of the stores, so we had to get a picture with them on.

I love this quilt. They had it done in a few different colors, but we liked this one the best. I'm pretty sure Mom bought the pattern for this one.

Stitchery from new book

This is one of the stitchery patterns from the Boy's Story quilt book I bought. I thought Amy would like it. It is the cutest book. I am glad we finally found it, at one of the last stores we went to. There is a shark, alien, wizard, archer, boat, etc.

Dino fabric

I saw this fabric last fall at a store in Bountiful on the fall shop hop. I was sad later that I didn't buy at the time. I went back to that store this week, and guess what, they still had some! So I bought some, not knowing what I would do with it. I decided to make pillowcases for the 3 boys, and will have some left for something for the baby! Isn't it cute!

More Shop Hop

These are patterns I bought on the shop hop last week. I wanted Amy to see them.
The quilt with the castle is from the Boys' Story quilt book. There are some fun things in it.

Shop Hop

This is the Buggy barn fabric I bought for Amy to use in a quilt for her family room. I hope you like it, Amy!

Wedding Flowers

My dried wedding bouquet has been sitting around for years. I finally came up with something to do with it. Now I just have to decide where to put it.

Wall Decoration

Here it is. Meg and I saw something like this at Roberts for $20-$30. Dad cut the wood, put them together and sanded them for me. I painted and make the decoration. Hopefully they look alright.

Gorgeous Girl

Here is a picture I just took of Andrea. She is wearing the necklace and headband she made. They looked so cute on her! I figured I'd post this picture cause I created the picture and she created her accessories :)

Pear Quilt

I finished the pear quilt I've been working on. I am really excited about how it turned out. I don't know exactly what I'm going to do with it, but I loved it so I wanted to make it. Right now I have it on one of our living room chairs to show it off, but then I'm sure it'll become a blanket for one of Lexi's dolls.

Family Picture Accesories

We are having family pictures done on Saturday with Kyle's family. We have a great photographer coming, you should check her out at http://meghallphotography.blogspot.com. ; ) Anyway, the girls are wearing white shirts. I only have plain white t-shirts without any cute embellishments or anything. I decided instead of finding a new shirt which maybe wouldn't fit me too much longer, I would just do a fun necklace. I am also planning on doing a headband of some sort but haven't gotten there yet. Here are the pictures of my necklace and the necklace and bracelet I did for the girls.

Here is mine:

Closer up of the beads and flower:I have this problem where I am terrified (or something like that) of making very specific colored jewelry. I love wearing it, but hate making it. I feel like I won't wear it enough to spend time making it. Weird, I know. Because of this phobia, the flower on this necklace is actually on a pin and can be removed to place other embellishments in its place. What do you think?

Here is what I did for both of my girls:

I have the headbands for the girls almost done, but haven't started mine yet. I will try to do that and post it soon!

Quilt blocks

Hurrah for me, for 2 reasons. 1, I finished the 7 blocks for June quilt group. 2. I was able to figure out how to take a picture of them, download picture to my laptop (my first try at that), download picture to the blog! A great sense of accomplishment!
