Grandkids Picture Board

I made this for my mother-in-law for Christmas. It looks really good up on her wall

I made this quilt a few months ago for my new little niece. I'm happy about how it turned out. When I did her newborn pictures we did a few of her with the quilt, and Andrea made the hat and diaper cover she is wearing.

Boards

I made these boards a few days ago and they were super easy and turned out exactly how I wanted them. One is to hang our keys on and the other is for Lexi's jewelry. I am making some others and when they are done I'll post them too!

Fall Wreath

Here is my fall wreath. It turned out a little bit puffy, but hopefully not too crazy!

Halloween decor

I love the little blockheads on Craft Goodies blog. She did several Haloween blockheads, and this cute mummy caught my eye, especially because it was EASY! Isn't she cute!

I have other Halloween quilts to do, one is even cut out, but when I was this in a quilt magazine, I was hooked. I even found the line of fabric they had used, but I did a different print for the outer border. I have it draped over my quilt rack in the living room.

I bought some patterns from Twin Stitchers, and finished up this "Batty" like she did hers, at Amy's suggestion. Another simple, but really cute project. I have a couple more stitcheries done, but won't get to framing them for a while.

Holiday projects

When I saw these metallic purple chargers at Michael's, I thought they were 'screaming' for vinyl for Halloween. The bat is actually orange and black, not yellow like it looks. I really need to get Meg to do my photos for posts. Anyway, after I put on the vinyl, it looked a bit plain, so I used a light mist of gold glitter spraypaint, and I love it!

Amy saw bats something like these on a craft blog, so we made them while Meg and I were in Vegas with Amy. We had a cutting party here the Friday before we went to Vegas, with me cutting, Amy sanding, and Meg keeping the kids happy. The bats have scrapbook paper on them, and fuzzy yarn is tied around the dowels. Three done in Vegas, one more to finish so we each have one.

The tree and snowman were also on craft blogs, but we did our own thing. We nearly finished 4 of each of these, just had to put on the finishing touches when I got home. I need to get a bigger house for all the decorations we are making! There were some other things we did when we were together, such as t-shirt painting and glass etching, using the Silhouette for templates. Amy or Meg need to post what they finished. Always another project to do, and something to post here.
