I am really liking fabric purses. It is fun to make a purse in the colors and fabrics I like, and they are less expensive than buying a new purse. I can afford to have a few to choose from. I like how this one went together, using fusible fleece as a stabilizer. It has two layers of mat board in a sleeve on the bottom to make the bottom solid. I am ready to try another pattern I bought by the same designer. I am having trouble finding the fusible fleece, though. JoAnn's is out, and I bought the last 1 1/3 yard that Hancock's has. I have enough to make one purse, so I want to get some more somewhere.

Wooden Flowerpots
A Few Projects Finished
Meg and I are both going on pioneer trek next month, and Amy gave me a pattern and fabric for bonnets for both of us. She even cut them out! I thought I had better hurry and get them done, still much to do to get ready for the trek.
A couple of months ago I took a short class on dong the Buggy Barn technique. I told my two friends, whom I went to class with, that I was determined to actually do a Buggy Barn project. I liked this flower pattern, and made 4 of these table toppers, and gave each of the girls one for Mother's Day. I have mine hanging on my quilt hanger in my kitchen. I was pleased with how they turned out.
