Newest Projects

This week while Amy was in town we did a few projects. We used the Silhouette Machine a lot. We made these cute candy filled carrots with it:We also made these crown cupcake holders:
Amy bought this magnet board at Ikea for her sewing room and added some vinyl to it:

Another project we did while Amy was here was felt flowers for the girls.

Meg's dress makeover

I hope that Meg doesn't mind that I am posting her project. A while ago, she bought this dress for Lexi on clearance, I think for just a dollar. Anyway, she wanted to make it more spring-like, so she took off the striped sleeves, leaving the dotted sleeves, and added a ribbon sash. It turned out cut, and Lexi likes it. Always the super bargain finder! Good job, Meg!

Thank you, Lexi, for modeling for this post. You are so cute! I have a couple of things I don't wear that I maybe could alter, so that I would like them better. My new challenge.

Dinosaur Quilt FINALLY Done!

Did this quilt take me forever, or what? I am glad that it turned out so cute. I like the colors better than the bright colors they used on the pattern. I hope Trevin will like it!

What happened to us doing regular posts? I guess life got in the way. I haven't finished much lately, so I will try to finish more, just so I have more regular posts!
